Haugaland videregående skole er Nord - Rogalands største videregående skole med om lag 900 elever og 180 ansatte. Skolen har følgende utdanningsprogram:

På utdanningsprogram for Teknologi og industrifag, Bygg- og anleggsfag, Helse- og oppvekstfag tilbyr skolen programfaget toppidrett, som gjør at elevene kan kombinere en yrkesfaglig utdanning med satsing på idretten sin. Haugaland vgs har funnet sin pedagogiske retning i konsekvenspedagogikken, og vektlegger både faglig og sosial læring. Skolen henter betydelig inspirasjon fra deltakelse i MOT-programmet.
Haugaland videregående skole har ledig mellom 50%-100% vikariat i filologiske fag. Aktuelle fag: norsk, engelsk, samfunnskunnskap.
